This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to subscriptions purchased for NyaySaathi’s AI Legal Drafting services.
NyaySaathi provides AI-powered legal drafting tools that allow subscribers to generate and work with legal drafts through the platform.
1. Subscription
NyaySaathi offers a monthly subscription for its AI Legal Drafting service.
The subscription provides users with access to the applicable AI legal drafting features, including unlimited drafting during the active subscription period.
The subscription price applicable to a user is the price displayed on the NyaySaathi platform at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions are currently not automatically renewed. Users may choose to purchase a new subscription when their current subscription period expires.
2. Cancellation
Since NyaySaathi subscriptions do not currently use automatic renewal, users do not need to cancel an automatic recurring payment.
Once a subscription has been purchased, the subscription remains active until the end of the applicable subscription period.
Users may choose not to purchase a new subscription after their current subscription period expires.
3. Refund Policy
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once the subscription has been successfully activated, as the service provides immediate access to the AI Legal Drafting features.
However, NyaySaathi may consider refund requests in exceptional circumstances, including:
- Duplicate payments made for the same subscription.
- A payment being successfully deducted but the subscription not being activated due to a technical issue.
- A significant technical issue preventing access to the subscribed service, where the issue cannot reasonably be resolved.
- Any other circumstances that NyaySaathi determines warrant a refund.
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
4. Failed or Unsuccessful Payments
If an amount is deducted from a user’s account but the subscription is not successfully activated, the user should contact NyaySaathi with the relevant payment details.
After verification of the transaction, NyaySaathi will either activate the applicable subscription or process a refund, as appropriate.
5. Duplicate Payments
If a user is charged more than once for the same subscription due to a duplicate transaction, the additional payment will be eligible for a refund after verification.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, users should contact NyaySaathi using the details below and provide:
- Name associated with the account
- Registered email address
- Transaction/order ID, if available
- Date and amount of the payment
- Reason for requesting the refund
Providing accurate transaction information helps us investigate and process the request efficiently.
7. Refund Processing
Once a refund is approved, it will be initiated through the applicable payment method/payment gateway.
The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in the user’s account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, or other payment service provider.
NyaySaathi is not responsible for delays caused by a user’s bank or payment service provider after the refund has been successfully initiated.
8. Changes to Subscription Pricing
NyaySaathi may change its subscription pricing from time to time.
Any applicable price will be clearly displayed to the user before a new subscription is purchased. Changes in pricing do not affect a subscription that has already been successfully purchased for its current subscription period.
